Siento mucho el diagnostico. Creo que la retinitis pigmentosa también tiene un ángel, como tus pinturas, que te ayudará en todo lo que vayas necesitando, en tus miedos, dudas, en tu recuperación ¿por qué no?. Tengo una amiga de Chiapas que vive en DF, que desde hace más de 10 años le diagnosticaron lo mismo, y sigue trabajando.

Soy chiapaneca, me encantaron tus pinturas en tu linda y acogedora tienda de San Cristobal, desde 2004. Este año en junio, estaba en tu tienda, cuando por churro me enteré que ese día era la inauguración de tu exposición, apenas subiendo las escaleras. Ahí te conocí, compré dos litografías y tres libros. El libro de "Las Doñas de Chiapas" que me autografiaste, me encantó. Recuerdo a la gente haciendo cola para felicitarte y decirte lo hermosas que son tus pinturas.

Question   my head is full of childrenposter
Hello Kiki, I recently found this poster in a thrift store. I was immediately drawn to it. Maybe because I am an art teacher and my head is full of children every day! It looks as though you signed it. Did you sign some of these posters and how can I know if this one is an authentic signature? Thank you so much. Jill

Question   Book-Woman
Hola Kiki,

I lost track of you some years back but I happened on you once again. I've always been very fond of your work, with a special attachment to Book-Woman. Is the Book-Woman blanket still available? The tote? With your passion for painting, you will find a way to manifest your art even if the eyes ever totally fail. Julie Andrews did it, as did Beethoven, You will too!

  Answer Toni Anderson, above, introduced me to your art, which has brought great joy into my life. I too am losing my center vision in my early sixties, (wet macular degeneration) and will miss seeing your joyous art. I hope I can visualize it...if not, I know I will be able to visualize the spirit of the. Thank you for giving so much of yourself to the world for so many years. Now, I guess, it's time to focus on the gift of having multiple senses. Easy for me to say since my vision, for the moment, is still adequate. There's quite a journey ahead. I pray that we both find serentiy in the process. By the way, thanks again, Toni, you're having major "journeys" of your own.

I have to do everything slower, but that is okay. Maybe when the moment comesw and I do not enjoy painting anymore, I can say it was "enough". maybe. Huge hugs to you and your husband! Question   My head is full of children
Dear Kiki,
I purchased your T-shirt to complete my crazy quilt T-shirt quilt at the Thrift store in Kansas City, Kansas. I am the School Nurse of Kansas 2009, and I am preparing a speech for the School Nurses in Kansas. With your permission, I would like to use your title for my speech? I feel like your T-shirt completed my quilt, as I am a School Nurse at a Kansas Middle School with over 525 teenagers. I have many students with medical and mental health needs who I see daily for either medication or mental health support. I want to encourage the School Nurses in Kansas to continue to give of themselves and not become discouraged with all the budget cuts to education.
